10, (Carlsbad, CA) Through Gates of Fire: Volume II: Hovering
Presence begins with Dr. Flash Bastion recovering from the folly of his
fall in a hospital ward. He has tubes and needles protruding from every
orifice. He is walking gingerly upon the corridors of near death.
In Volume Two, God humbles Dr. Bastion, and reveals to him his greater
purpose in a world controlled by a brutal and ruthless government that
oppresses, incarcerates, and marginalizes its citizens. The brutal
regime, called the "ruling Junta," begins implanting RFID microchips into
the hands of its people, and monitoring their every move.
Flash's role in serving God, and the micro chipped population is more
significant then he could have ever imagined.
