Christians can now get daily inspiration from striking artworks that
incorporate Bible verses
Jamaica, NY, July 11, 2007—Eighty-year-old Vera Forde has launched
BibleWords4Life, a new website featuring inspirational and devotional
artwork, proving that you’re never too old to spread God’s word.
Forde has been studying the Bible and sharing the word of God with others
for more than 45 years. But it wasn’t until she saw the paintings of
Marcos and Severo Carrasco P. that she was inspired to spread God’s word
through art. After seeing one of the brothers’ dramatic paintings of an
Purple & White Iris Flower back in Fall of 2006, Forde decided to
commission the artists to create a series of paintings and add verses
from the Bible to their artwork.
“I looked at the paintings…I just saw the beauty of almighty God,” says
Forde.
The paintings, which feature elements such as flowers and the hands of
God, will be transformed into posters and sold online at
BibleWords4Life They will also be available for sale to Christian
bookstores and other related shops/organizations.
Biblewords4Life was created to use the Word of God and art to inspire
people to believe in the divine creator and study His word. Forde
believes that in today’s tumultuous world people need something as
beautiful as art and as gracious and merciful as God to help them get
through each day.
“I hope people will decorate their home or office with these works and be
inspired in the same way I was,” explains Forde.

Forde came to the United States in 1956 to work as a Registered Nurse.
Forde has been reading the Bible daily for more than four decades and
